Experience
HMS people have specific C-IED experience which proves paramount to each product and service offering, these are as follows:
Military and Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD):
- Operational command of bomb disposal teams/anti-terrorist operations
- Development of IEDD policy and formulation of render-safe procedures
- US IEDD as well as US SWAT team command
- Forensic procedures and post-incident investigation
- Development and implementation of IEDD training
- The development and procurement of IEDD equipment requirements
- Contingency and mitigation planning
- Interagency liaison with government, military, police and commercial organizations
- Training and experience within specialized military roles
- Senior military IEDD instructors
Business and Commerce:
- Extensive corporate experience within the defence industry, security and communications sectors
- Senior-level positions at finance, pharmaceutical, media, retail and insurance corporations
- Senior university lecturers in risk and security management (including running the PHD Risk Management course at Cranfield University, UK)
- Members of the UN Terrorism Prevention Branch (TPB) roster of experts
Research and Analysis:
- Military, commercial security and academic backgrounds, including military intelligence experience
- The Research & Analysis Director is the former Commanding Officer of the Army School of Ammunition and has an extensive background in C-IED intelligence
